The town of Breuberg and the Vereinsring Neustadt am Breuberg e. V. invite you to the 50th Neustadt Meeting of the Neustadt Towns in Europe in the Odenwald.

The 48th Neustadt Meeting will take place from June 18 to 20, 2027, in the Dutch town of Nieuwstadt (part of the municipality of Echt-Susteren).

The 48th Neustadt Meeting took place from May 14 to 17, 2026 in Bergneustadt. As part of the city’s 725th anniversary, 29 Neustadt towns from six European countries celebrated a diverse weekend of festivities. The highlight was the traditional parade featuring 57 groups and around 2,700 participants.

Our city will be 777 years old in 2025. This anniversary was a reason to celebrate in style. And we invited the new towns of Europe to join us in the celebrations and held the annual "New Towns in Europe" meeting during the festival weekend from September 12 to 14, 2025.

Neustadt-Glewe will be celebrating its castle festival from May 29 to 31, 2026—a festival for the whole family. Take a trip back in time to medieval life. Children are especially invited to try their hand at medieval crafts.

The Neustadt in Europe working group mourns the loss of its long-standing chairman and most recently honorary chairman Hans Schreyegg, who played a key role in shaping the successful history of the Neustadt movement.

This year's 46th Neustadt reunion took place in Cristian-Neustadt, Romania. From 8 to 11 August 2024, around 150 participants from eight Neustadt towns accepted the invitation and made the long journey to ‘Neustadt in Burzenland’.

Whether in the Neustadt-Mile, dancing to live music coming from various stages or at the sales booths of the local associations: Guests and local Neustadt residents celebrated the city´s great anniversary together.

Unfortunately, there will be no Neustadt meeting this year either. The Corona crisis is forcing those responsible from Neustadt Harz to decide to cancel the festival without replacement.
